Karoli Ghat... One of a mesmerizing experience

      Why you people trek regularly???.. this question bang on my head many time by friends...but I have only answer to say "Come with me once, I will show u" ..and finally they come and got an answer...

     It is like that ..to get free from an invisible cage that builds around us.. to breathe fresh air, to drink crystal water, to see the mystery of unfolded view from nature, to listen to Sounds of birds, to witness the stream of the waterfall falling from a mountains and of course, one of is "to find inner soul"

             "We don't trek because we can, we trek because we want to"...

       Karoli ghat on weekend with offbeat wanderers, Harish drop an itinerary in our trekking Atrangi group. Sagar is one to say "YES" first, later I join him for enrolling a seat. On the last day due to some cancellation of others, I m able to grab a seat for two of my friend's Abhishek and Manoj...

       Somehow we caught kasara train from Mulund station. That's another story. We met Sagar and our trek lead of offbeat wanderers Hemant who's are boarded at Kalyan. We are shared a lot of unfolded stories together. Finally at 1.40 am we reached kasara and gather together, where we met all the participants. We fill a waiver submission form and moved to our destination Samrad village with boarded in a local transport. On the way, We take a small halt for tea/coffee at dhaba. We reached samrad around 5.30am and quickly find a place for power nap at near one of a Maruti temple.

      We all are faced a terrifying experience their, we are not able to sleep. Its just like, we are coming for attending blood donate camp for local mosquitos.  We woke up early and freshen up. 

      But Cause of this, We people able to witness one of stunning Sunrise from the  Samrad village. 

For this view , We trek 

      Sun is coming out from behind mountains and thick dark black cloud surrounded with him. It is one of a scenic morning to give treat to eyes. We take long to wait for tea and famous breakfast of poha.  Those who's trek regularly knows it. We had a good session of long intro round, about each individual trekking experience.

        Also get knowledge about surrounding place where we standing that time. We can see from their smoky mountains in 360 degrees. Giant Ajoba, Beautiful Ratangad, Mount kalsubai and AMK range whose lost in clouds that time...

      Finally, We started to trek around 8.30 am.. after 15 mins walk we came to the entrance point of one of the famous Valley of shadows "Sandhan".

         We spend some time for a photo shoot and take a right route to Karoli ghat. We climb one easy 15 feet wall and after a few steps of walk, we gathered at famous reverse waterfall point of Sandhan. That place is called semi Konkan Kada. We experience the immense view of the SAHYADRI landscape, which is terrifying and beautiful. Water is coming up instead of falling in the valley. Just close your eyes, open our arms and let a silver drop fall on your face. Also, We are lucky enough to witness a colorful rainbow. that is like an added cherry on a cake.

       So we start capturing the pics from here itself. We click a group photo, lots of individual pics. We are taking so much time there, So the leader has to push us ahead. 

      After a few walks, we are on route from where we have to descend down a Karoli ghat. After a few steps ahead, We descend down one 15 feet patch. Where we see the miracle of nature, multiple streams of milky water passing through on a rock.

         We move ahead in a valley, we are entered in the deep forest and suddenly descend into the small gorge starts the trek. Valley gets denser as earlier. We take a break at one patch where we have to rappel a 15 feet rock patch. Then we are passing through multiple rocks and some slippery surfaces.

        Rock patches appear with surrounded by water passing through...cold n crystal clear water makes group exciting. We Start making way through jumping, crumbling through small rock patches with water flowing from another side. We had a quick lunch break in between valley. We now able to see a complete view of the mighty waterfall. Yessss..!! It is magnificent, believe me. I lock the view of this in my eyes forever.

         As clouds are coming so we move fast ahead without a break. Cause if its rain, the water level will come up that flowing through the river. We have to cross river ahead multiple times .. if its rain flow of a river gets wide and deep. finally, we came out from the valley and reach Sangam ie. Karoli ghat and Sandhan route meet together ..

       Where we witness 180-degree panorama view of the valley ..it is treated to eyes. Gift from nature, two giant waterfalls falling from Mountain, from where we came down. Also, right side baan pinnacle hands up n telling us, Hey hi, I am here...!!

        We marched with this route that passing through parallel to the river. Throughout this trail arrow marking is their, So easy to find the correct route. 

         Finally, we all are gathered together in our most exciting part of the trek, i.e cliff jump in a river. Without hesitate, everyone is jumping into the water. Offbeat provide us life jacket for our safety. water is so clear it looks shallow, Easily we can see the base of the river.

        We spend a good time there, that is one of the best parts of a trek. Later we move towards Dehne village, which is 1.30-hour easy walk through the jungle surrounded by the landscape of mountains. 

      In that trail, we have to pass through multiple river streams, that is around more than 10 times. 

        Finally, we reached Dehne village around 5.30 pm. It is our the endpoint of the trek. Quickly grab a seat in a local vehicle to move forward Kasara.

       Overall it is a fantabulous experience delivers me more than expectation., we enjoy lot each other company, we had good laugh throughout the journey and most importantly we make new friends and memories that never vanish. 

        I don't know we are lucky or not as  No rain that day throughout trek.. but again this trek gives us the hell out of an experience.  Most important give me sensing the satisfying of an inner peace.
